Ingredients
- 1 whole wheat bread
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1-2 Tbsp marinara sauce , try garlic & onion for extra flavor
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tsp parmesan cheese
- favorite toppings (pepperoni, green bell pepper), Optional

- Wash Your Hands
- Preheat The Oven to 375 degrees F– Before you turn it on, the inside of the oven is normally the same temperature as the room, so around 65-75 degrees.– The over needs to get up to 375 degrees to be able to cook the pizza completely!
- Cut The Edges of the Pizza– Use safety scissors or a safety knife to keep things safe.
- Cover the Baking Pan With Aluminum Foil– Place one pita half, with the inside facing up, onto the pan.
- Measure 2 Tbsp of Olive Oil into the Small Bowl– Using the pasty brush, paint the olive oil onto the pita bread.– This will make the crust crunchy when it cooks in the oven.
- Measure 1-2 Tbsp of Marina Sauce– Spread it around the pizza evenly, using a circular motion.– Make a crust by leaving an edge that's about two fingers wide, or about 1 inch.
- Measure Mozzarella Cheese and Sprinkle Evenly on the Pizza– Sprinkle the Parmesan on top of the Mozzarrella– Taste a bit of the mozzarella and a bit of the parmesan to note the difference in textures and flavors.– The Mozzarella with be gooey and bubbly when it melts, and the Parmesan will be brown and crunchy. – Add any additional ingredients that you feel would taste great on your pizza.
- Set the Time for Ten Minutes– Oven temperatures can vary so check on your pizza a couple of minutes before it's the timer is set to go off. – When the Parmesan cheese is brown, the pizza is done.– Let the pizza cool for at least three minutes before eating.
- While the Pizza is Baking, Wash and Dry Everything You've Used– Be sure to wipe the counters clean as well.
- Use the Leftovers to Make Pita Chips.– Tear the other half of the pita into bite sized bits.– Brush them lightly with olive oil.– Sprinkle them with parmesan cheese.– Bake for 2-3 minutes at 375 degrees.
